ImposeIQ Book

The page order, the spine width and the cover all depend on each other. Book works the three out from what you already know: the page count, the stock and the machine you are running on.

Capabilities

The Imposer, held to book work.

Book is built on the Imposer’s own engine — the same loader, live sheet preview, signature nesting, creep, DC marks, cutter XML and templates — so anyone who can drive the Imposer can drive this. Binding is the choice that matters, and perfect binding adds the cover.

  • Saddle stitch and perfect binding, with the page order each one needs
  • One signature stack per sheet, or two-up signatures slit apart afterwards
  • Creep, signature nesting, DC marks and cutter XML from the Imposer
  • Spine width from the page count and the paper
  • Perfect-bound cover with its spine and hinge creases
  • Cover artwork placed on the front, spine and back panels
  • Fit a PDF to the press sheet, with the shrink it applied reported
  • Templates for the books you run again
